The energies of life come to meet us at every moment. Some of these energies are negative, how do I handle the ‘negatives’, whether it’s someone’s attitude, hurtful gesture or a daily dose of world violence and mayhem? Let me not absorb it – let me not be an emotional sponge. Let me not reflect it back so I do not begin a cycle of emotional exchanges which may last a long time.
