Brahma Kumaris

The Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University recognizes the intrinsic spirituality and goodness of every human being and helps people to rediscover that goodness within themselves, encouraging and facilitating the development of spiritual awareness, attitudes, behaviors and skills through a process of lifelong learning. Internationally, the organization was established in India in 1937 and has established a network of over 8,500 centers in 140 countries.

It offers Raja Yoga as a way of experiencing peace of mind and a positive approach towards life. It provides opportunities for people from all religions, faiths, status, region, age and gender to explore their own spirituality and to experience their eternal link with the Almighty. It is committed to the spiritual growth and personal transformation of the individuals for creating a better world.

The Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University is a non-governmental organization in general consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), in consultative status with The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and affiliated to the Department of Public Information (DPI).
